While SeaTac is comparative easy to navigate, it can be confusing if you are unfamiliar with its layout. However, the linear design makes it relatively simple to move through security directly to your concourse and your flight gate.
MAIN TERMINAL
There is one main terminal at SeaTac. It is within this area that you'll find the check-in counters, ticketing, and baggage claim. The Main Terminal connects to six (6) concourses. The concourses branch out from this central hub. From this central hub, you can access every gate.
CONCOURSES
The concourses that fan out from the Main Terminal are distributed in a North section and a South section. It is fairly quick and easy to walk between Concourses A, B, C, and D.
South: Concourses A, B, and the South Satellite Terminal gates
North: Concourses C, D, and the North Satellite Terminal gates
UNDERGROUND AIRPORT TRAIN
After moving through the security checkpoint, simply hop on the underground airport train to head to your Concourse, where you'll find your gate. This efficient people mover makes regular loops every two to four minutes from the main terminal to all concourses, including the North (N) and South (S) satellite terminals. You may also choose to walk to Concourses A, B, C, and D.
ACCESSIBILITY
At every level of the airport you'll find elevators, and getting onto the Underground Train is step-free. Concourses A, B, C, and D are easily accessed via the Underground Train. Once in the concourse, you can easily reach any flight gate on foot.
SATELLITE GATES
The North (N) and South (S) satellite gates are in separate buildings. If you arrive on an international flight, you'll move through the International Arrivals Facility (IAF), adjacent to the South Satellite, and then board the underground train to Baggage Claim, which is at the Main Terminal.

A charter bus rental in Seattle makes it very convenient to get from SeaTac to any destination within the city, surrounding cities such as Tacoma, and anywhere in Washington State. In fact, our group transportation services are highly praised by passengers who hail from across the United States and beyond. Here are the steps to boarding your Seattle bus rental at SeaTac:
Step 1: Make sure everyone in your group has picked up their luggage from Baggage Claim.
Step 2: Proceed to the Northeast Ground Transportation (NE GT) lot. To do this, from the Main Terminal's Level 2 Baggage Claim, take a Yellow or Green elevator to Level 4. From here, you'll walk along the Skybridge that crosses over to the Main Parking Garage.
Step 3: Then, take an elevator to the first (1st) floor of the parking garage. You'll walk a couple of minutes along a corridor to a covered area marked as "Cruise & Charter Buses" and there you will wait for your Seattle charter bus driver.
Step 4: Call 206-787-5906. This is the SeaTac charter bus dispatch service. This service will release your driver from the bus staging area. Charter buses are staged in a remote holding lot ten minutes from the airport, at the 28th Ave South Holding Lot, until they receive this notification and are contacted by your group that you are prepared for pickup.
Step 5: Call your driver to confirm you are ready for pickup.
By the way—don’t worry if your flight has been delayed and arrives late. Your driver will be tracking your flight so that you are picked up on schedule.
NOTE: Charter buses entering SeaTac are required to be pre-registered and be permitted by the Port of Seattle. Seattle Charter Bus Rentals will follow these procedures, which you can review at the SeaTac Charter Bus Operators page.

When you book a group Seattle airport shuttle to SeaTac, your driver will take into account the occasional traffic congestion on highways heading into the airport. Major highways such as I-5 are especially busy during specific days and times of the week. During peak travel periods, it's not uncommon to experience gridlock in both the Arrivals and Departure areas. As such, your driver will work with you to schedule your pickup time early enough so that you are dropped off without having to rush to your gate.
Charter buses typically drop off passengers at the curb on Departure Drive. This is the upper Ticketing Level. Your driver will assist with unloading overhead bins and any undercarriage storage compartments to enhance efficiency. There are designated areas for this purpose.

It's only about 13 miles from SeaTac to downtown Seattle. Depending on the time of day, expect the drive in your Seattle charter bus rental to take anywhere from about a half-hour to an hour. There is an abundance of popular attractions in Seattle and the traffic often reflects it! Tacoma is 25 miles from SeaTac. That drive averages 30 to 40 minutes, but if you are riding during peak commute hours, expect the drive to take an hour or more. Fortunately, you'll be relaxing in plush, reclining seats. Charging your phone or other device. Listening to music or talking with friends. And sightseeing in stylish comfort. It's all possible on our clean, modern charter bus rentals in Seattle!

At this writing, Alaska Airlines is the only airline operating commercial flights into Seattle Paine Field International Airport (PAE). Although small, PAE is gaining popularity as it increases service to multiple cities. In addition, many passengers appreciate the ease and swiftness of checking in, getting through security and to their gate. In fact, the petite size of the airport terminal means all this can be done in a matter of minutes!
Adding to the efficiency of group travel through PAE is that your Seattle bus rental can pick up and drop off your group directly outside the main terminal entrance at 100th Street SW. Both ticketing and baggage claim are conveniently located on the same floor. On the second floor are the security checkpoint and departure gates.
Can I choose the charter bus size and model I want to rent?
Yes. As a matter of fact, our Seattle fleet ranges from small sprinter vans to full-size, 56-passenger motorcoaches with all the bells and whistles—including an onboard restroom. When you make your reservation, tell us your passenger count and the amenities you would like, and we'll help you select the bus model that fits your needs. You should know that we don't charge extra for ADA accessibility features, such as wheelchair lifts, wider aisles, and grab bars.
Can my group bring food and drinks on board the bus?
Absolutely. After a long flight, you may want to stock up on food and drinks at SeaTac and bring it with you on your Seattle charter bus. All we ask is that you clean up and collect any trash when you are done. If you are planning on consuming alcoholic beverages, please let your reservation agent know this at time of booking. This is important because we must ensure compliance with local and Federal laws in this regard. And sorry, no glass bottles are allowed.
How far in advance should I book my Seattle airport shuttle bus rental?
The short answer is—the earlier the better! As soon as you have your passenger count, travel dates, and destination(s), call our Seattle Charter Bus Rentals reservations team. We recommend booking at least a month to three months in advance. This is especially advised if you are traveling on a weekend, during peak summer vacation periods and holidays, or when special events are taking place. This ensures the bus you want is available for your itinerary.
What if my driver experiences a delay in our pickup?
Clogged highways and traffic jams are not infrequent in the Seattle area. This and unanticipated circumstances such as construction or accidents may cause a delay. Although our professional drivers are familiar with traffic patterns on the region's roads, and build in extra time to assure they meet your schedule, they may have to adjust a timeframe if they are delayed. Your driver will contact you in this scenario. Passenger safety and reliability always remain our top priorities.
How early should my group be at the airport for a departure?
Two hours before a domestic flight and three hours prior to an international flight should be plenty of time for you to check in and get through security and to your flight gate. To avoid the potential of increased crowds-and longer lines, which is common in the airport on weekends and holidays, add an extra hour to your arrival time prior to departure.
